Five years! Five years working night shifts stacking shelves and going to lectures during the day! An undergrad degree, and an MBA and the only job she could find was this shitty unpaid internship working for the The Overseer. “It’ll be good experience,” The Overseer told her. “Think of the exposure!”

Then fighters from across the multiverse start popping up left, right and centre and she’s expected to do all the photocopying and make them all coffee while registering them all for the tournament?! Well. That’s it. She’s pissed. She's Furious. She left her resignation on The Overseer’s empty throne along with her registration for the tournament. And her wish? If she wins, the Overseer with work for her for free for the rest of eternity. Then we’ll see who has to exist on a diet of instant ramen and toast!

Jess looks tired from the years of working while studying to try to pay her way through an MBA. She was power-dressing to try to impress her boss, The Overseer, but now she's done with that shit and has ripped the arms off her jacket.
