This track was made in MUCOMMD2VGM, an MML compiler based off of Yuzo Koshiro's PC-98 compiler MUCOM88 adapted for use with the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. I'm still pretty new to the program and the English documentation seems to be missing a few bits so putting this song together was a great learning experience despite not using MUCMOMMD to it's full potential. The final song was rendered in VGMPlay. The big inspiration here was the music from Rocky, especially Bill Conti's brilliant "The Final Bell." Trying to adapt to that style was a lot of fun, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't pick a boxer as my fighter as an excuse to give it a shot!

Compact but muscular build, jet black hair down to his neck with bushy eyebrows and a handlebar mustache. A few minor scars scattered around his body.

O'Sullivan grew up an otherwise good-natured kid who often let his temper and restlessness get the best of him until he discovered boxing as an outlet. Taking on the fighter name "Striker" (although his close friends insist on still calling him Sully), O'Sullivan lives, breathes, and dreams about boxing on the verge of obsession. He is a bit too competitive for his own good but goes the extra mile to be a good sportsman to make up for it, not wishing to burn any bridges chasing the belt. On his "days off," Striker is a volunteer firefighter and teaches general fitness and (safer) sports to kids at his local community center.

What is your OC fighting for?

Striker entered the tournament without a second thought for nothing more than the love of the fight. He has not decided what he wishes for- he may have honestly forgotten about the wish!
