Wanted to try to do a guilty gear xx/under night in birth type of track with loads of metal influences and catchy melodies. Sort of struggling, angry, triumphant; which fits my OC. Recorded a bunch of the guitars first, kept working on it a lot and changed it around quite a few times. Broke a bunch of guitar strings while recording and had no replacements so had to cut out a few parts which required said strings...

She only has three limbs and uses a flexible crutch/stick to enable her to fight. She's got a very flat body, is fairly thin but somewhat muscular. Loves green and white in combination. Often has a rugged hairstyle with black shoulder-long hair. Often looks like she's suspicious of her surroundings, or ready for the unexpected with piercing look in her eyes and often angrily wrinkled eyebrows and tense mouth as if scrunching her focus toward her nose/eyes.
Gren had to amputate her own leg to escape shackles in a labor camp as a kid. She was born into slavery dragging minerals out of mines and living on tiny pieces of bread and water. Each slave had a weighted ankle-chain to prevent escape. After her escape she was found in a ditch bleeding to death. When she awoke she'd been patched up and found her body had started to heal(to her surprise that was 5 months later). She vowed to take revenge on the slavekeepers and free all her friends and family in the camp. Immediately she started training.
Determined, fueled with oppressive revenge, she got stronger quickly. She never missed her leg, and realized quickly that whatever you work toward, you will get closer to achieving. That became all she did. She rescued the camp and brought justice. And that's who she would forever be, the one who brought justice for those who had no voice.

What is your OC fighting for? *
To rid the world of selfishness and oppression. She's sometimes judges people too harshly which sometimes means bad guys get much more then they deserve... Even in the tournament she's heard the other competitors talk down to her because of her injury and that's enough for her to be motivated to showing them they're wrong.

Some really tasty, beautiful, balanced tunes here. Bumpin, steadily carrying me through the day, lots of colors along the way. Currently on my 3rd consecutive listen-through... I suspect this will be one that I return to regularly. 🙏 Pinedon
